ABOUT
I am based in Edinburgh in Scotland. My general approach to photography centres on exploring specific themes and subjects through extended projects. This site showcases images from five such projects.
Two projects have resulted in books: one called 'Wonderland', shot in the Scottish Borders during the harshest winter for nearly half-a-century; the other called 'Ghost Town' about the destruction of a notorious Edinburgh housing scheme.
The picture on this page is changed regularly. This one was taken in Shari Gohar el-Qait street in old Cairo.
